Leisure Rules runs treasure hunt events open to the public for free. Each treasure hunt event can be done during your free time (coffee breaks, lunch time, walking to work/school etc.). If you are the first to solve the treasure hunt, you win the prize.

Team Building Treasure Hunts

We started running free public treasure hunts in September of 2009 but early on we were asked to design a custom team building event. So we did. While we kept running our public events, we also ran private events. When developing our private team building events, we wanted them to maintain the high standard of our public events and also introduce something that is innovative.

We developed a team building framework that allows companies to run their own team building events. This framework allows teams to have some fun using their mobile devices to get clues, solve puzzles and compete in a friendly environment. We also thought of the social committees we worked with and designed our events to be fun for them too. We added a lurker account that allows organizers to see how teams are doing and also tallies up the points automatically as teams complete waypoints.

Last, given the financial pinch we have all felt, our events are designed to be affordable. For 24 people, our events start at $250. At just over $10 per person, we feel that is pretty affordable. If you want to see how it works, try out the demo.

On Demand Mobile Treasure Hunts

We're now ready to offer up three on demand mobile treasure hunt events to be purchased for your next company team building event and we've made it *really* easy to plan, purchase and run your event. All of these events are on demand meaning that if you know how many teams you have and a date and time to run the event, you can be done in just a few minutes. All of these events are easily self managed thanks to the special lurker account.

Downtown Detectives	Sharpen your observation skills as you get ready to take part in a fun, fast paced journey through the streets you thought you knew! This hunt requires teams to visit 7 locations. The suggested starting point for the hunt is the intersection of Richmond and John. The hunt duration is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Answering the question in each clue will unlock your next clue on your journey. If you get stuck on a clue you can use the hint button, but be warned that it will cost you points! Good luck, have fun, and Happy Hunting! Location: Area bounded by Dundas Street West, Yonge Street, Wellington Street West and John Street.
More than meets the Eye	Toronto's Financial district is filled with history, art and national pride. Discover some of these hidden treasures on your way to solving the final mind teasing puzzle ... the last challenge standing between your team and victory! This hunt requires teams to visit 8 locations. The suggested starting point for the hunt is the intersection of King and Bay. Hunt duration is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Answering the question in each clue will unlock your next clue on your journey. If you get stuck on a clue you can use the hint button, but be warned that it will cost you points! Good luck, have fun, and Happy Hunting! Location: Area bounded by Adelaide Street, Yonge Street, Front Street and Simcoe Street.
TTC North	Ride the Rocket to fun and discovery. Work together as a team to find hidden treasures, answer questions and ultimately solve the final puzzle on your quest to becoming the hunt winners! All clues on the hunt are in areas of the TTC that have cell phone service or are close to an area where you can get cell phone service. You do not need to leave the TTC paid area during this hunt. This is a great indoor hunt for those who don't want to gamble on the weather. Hunt duration is approximately 90 to 120 minutes and the suggested starting point is Sheppard Station. As always the hint button is available at a cost of 50 points! Good luck, have fun, and Happy Hunting! Location: Possible subway stations include those north of St. Clair station and any station on the Sheppard line.
